Being mindful
As I snowball through my days in hyper-active mode, I stop and take a mindful breath.
Recently I read a short book by Thich Nhat Hanh, a Zen Master, about practicing the art of mindful living. It's all in your breathing. The most basic tip for mindful breathing is just to say to yourself. "I breathe in"... "I breathe out" (as you're breathing of course).
It's so simple and it works. And I keep forgetting to do it.
(If only it had an RSS feed!)
